CHRISTMAS PROJECT BLOG
November 17 - I decided to scale back on technology ornaments this year, but I couldn’t resist making at least one! The Old PC Ornament: 2017 Edition is a fun, intricate build that pays tribute to the classic PCs of the 1990s. (BONUS: OLD PC Ornament kits purchased at my store include a custom-printed floppy tile!)
November 15 - Platecraft is back this year, and in a big way! This fun new project shows you how to make either a Platecraft Gingerbread Man or Platecraft Gingerbread Bear. The two builds differ by just four parts, so the guides listed below contains both assembly methods in case you can’t choose a favorite. :D
November 13 - First up this year is the Robe! Each facade on this three-sided ornament features an alternating set of colored bows that flow inward, giving it the appearance of fabric. Six color combinations are available: Red Ribbon, Pink Percale, Lavender Lace, Blue Broadcloth, Green Gingham, and Yellow Yarn.
November 20 - The Twist is a colorful new ornament design that’s both fun and flexible. Sandwiched in the center of the Twist are four color layers that stack onto a central axle; if you like, you can rearrange these layers or replace them entirely. Combine two or more Twists to create unique color combinations!
November 24 - This year’s Gingerbread House is smaller, cuter, and more colorful! Peppermints swirls sweeten the two-tone gingerbread walls; brightly colored candy covers the snowy rooftop, and candy cane posts guard the sugary entryway. And unlike previous gingerbread creations, you can hang this one from a tree!
November 27 - The penultimate project in this year’s Christmas Collection is the Pendant! This bold, bright ornament uses new quarter-round tiles in different arrangements to give each color variant a distinct appearance. It’s available in Fuchsia, Orange, Chartreuse, and Azure.
Each November I unveil a series of new Christmas Lego® projects that you can build yourself using my free-to-download building guides. This blog will help you keep track of the new additions to my 2017 Christmas Collection, so check back regularly for updates!
